-I purchased a new 21 Can-am Spyder RT LTD on 10-09-21 and I worked with Win Early in sales. I would like to say that I had the best experience ever in purchasing a new motorcycle. Win was very kind and was very responsive to addressing all my questions. He did an excellent job at taking care of getting my trade-in evaluation set up and all the way through going over the key points related to operating the Spyder. When you walk into the dealership you cannot get very far into the building without several employees asking you if they can assist you. The men in the service department were very courteous when checking in my trade-in. The staff in the main part of the dealership all did an excellent job. They made sure my wife and I had liquids to drink while waiting to sign the financing paperwork. I ended up purchasing an additional comfort item for the Spyder and Brett Cole did an excellent job assisting with the purchase. I can honestly say that if you are looking for a new or used motorcycle, or other outdoor motorized recreational items, this is the dealership to see. When you go in, I recommend asking for Win Early as your sales associate. I hope you enjoy your experience there as much as my wife and I did this past week when we made the purchase of the 2021 Can-am Spyder RT Ltd. I have been in other dealerships in the past and this experience with Big #1 Motorsports exceeded my expectations. I would like to send a huge thanks Jime and Big Number 1. I have been trying to get a test ride on a 1000cc supersport bike for awhile now. Almost never can you ever get any dealerships to let you do this due to insurance reasons. Well, Jime and Big#1 hooked me up with a pass to the Barbers Vintage Festival. Not only did I get to see some awesome vintage bikes and good racing at the Barbers track but they had demo trucks there too. I was able to demo the brand new 2020 BMW S1000RR, which is the exact bike Im looking to buy. I still cant believe that they let people take that bike out for a test ride. There were more than just BMWs. There was also Yamaha, Indian, and KTM. I end up taking a couple rides while I was there, because there was such a huge selection from cruisers to supersports. All were a blast and it was a good way to try a bike that I havent even looked at. Yamahas MT10 was more powerful and fun than I was expecting. Wow, what an experience at Barbers. More than that Big#1 sold me my first bike and Aj and the team has been taking care of me from day one. I really cant come up with a single complaint about the great guys there, except they wont give me a bike for free. So thanks again, and keep it up.

i'd like to compliment AJ for his help. I've been a happy customer for a while. I have an old '08 Ranger 500 that AJ has helped me keep running, but it has an issue cranking. I tried replacing the fuses, made sure it had gas and a good battery but just wouldn't crank. I took the trouble loading it up and going to see AJ. He said it was going to be 6 weeks before they could even look at it so he said " let me take a look" so we went outside and long story short he helped me identify the starter silionid was bad and save me 6 weeks waiting. i'm not sure how to thank him or Big 1 enough but i'd like to compliment him. I even tried to tell him there was BBQ in it for him and he said I didn't have to do that, as he was just glad to help! i'm sure in business you folks hear "all the bad stuff" but please know every time I've used your services it was top notch, especially AJ !! your very happy customer - Wesley Templeton

James Quick in sales is the most patient salesman I have ever met. Easy to get a hold of, answered all my questions and never made me feel stupid or annoying. Hooked me up with Stephen in parts and he was just as patient. We literally tried on every full face helmet to fit my giant noggin. It ended up having to order a helmet for the test drive. Got it there in 2 days. Finally, Ethan in finance made signing the paperwork fun and easy. If that is really a thing. Buy from these guys!

Then, you become part of the Big #1 family. We have been part of the Big #1 family for many years. My birthday was September 28, 2017. I was looking at an Indian Scout (aka lusting after) and my sweetheart, John, was considering if he could trade in my current motorcycle for an upgrade. We planned to go to an Indian demo ride scheduled for the day after my birthday. It was exciting enough just to ride the Indian Scout: balanced, light and easy to handle yet more powerful than my Yomaha V-Star 950 AND FAST! When the ride was done (20 minutes was just not long enough), Jime Kilby, our sales guy, walked up and asked how it was. "It was great (happy from ear to ear). Then Jime asked if I wanted one. "YES." He held something up. "Here". Me: "what's that?" Jime: "The keys to your motorcycle" as he looked in the direction of a burgundy Indian Scout. "WHAAAAT?" John and the entire Big #1 family had been planning this birthday present for a week. John told them what I was looking at (aka wanted) and they didn't have it in stock, so they made sure they found one and had it there decked out and ready for my birthday! Everyone in the Big #1 family was in on it. Best birthday present ever. And, even though my man was the purchaser, everyone treated me (a woman) with respect and when they talked about the bike and its maintenance and care, they talked with me. Of course, I let John take care of talking with the financial guy.... The estimate of arrival for the Bobber was mid-September through the first of October. I just finished a 4200-mile trip on my 2015 BMW R1200RT, which put me just over the 12k mark. I dropped off my RT @ Big#1 the same day (Friday) that I finished my trip. Ricky (the service writer) looked up my service records, prepared the quotation, and promised me a 5-working-day turnaround. On Tuesday PM, Ricky called me with a progress report and asked if I wanted an additional service performed, which would be due in a few weeks. I gave the go-ahead and the very next day -- only 3 working days after dropping off my RT -- I got the call that my bike was ready! Great service. Thanks!

Just purchased my new Indian Scout today. The sales staff from the floor to my gear to the service was outstanding. The bike looks and rides great. My only complaint is early on before the purchase. I walked in and went to the Indian section of the store and wondered around for 15 or 20 minutes till finally someone ask if they could help me. I had just been to two different Harley Davidson dealers and was greeted immediatly upon entering the store. To be honest I almost walked out and cruised on back to the HD dealership but luckly for me a salesperson finally came to my rescue. Now Im not sure if all the sales staff were busy ect....but it almost cost the store a sale ane me a fine Indian motorcyle.....other than that my experiance afterward was fantastic , thanks Big #1 for making my dreams come true....

While on a 3500 mile road trip I discovered what I thought was a final dive failure on my BMW LT. A check of the closest BMW dealership found one right in town. I pulled in and they were pretty much useless, the service manager would not even get a mechanic to take a look. Finally one came out but would not really say anything out loud. I left with play in the rear wheel. After making phone contact with BIG#1MOTORSPORTS, about 4 hours away, they said come on in and we will take a look right away. AJ the service manager was very nice, took the motorcycle in right away, gave us a place to sit. Kyle the mechanic took a look and thought maybe final drive failure (I figured order parts overnight shipping an extra night or two in Birmingham AL). Kyle did some research and found it was a preload adjustment, he corrected it, all back to normal back on the road in less than 2 hours. Wanted to put my hands on a Yamaha R3 after spending too much time on youtube. They had a very gently used one on the sales floor, at a good price I might add, that I inquired about mostly out of curiosity as I never thought I'd be able to get financing for it. Reid and the finance team working with me, got me payoff on my current bike, and got me a decent deal on financing with an acceptable down payment. Within no time I was riding a blue R3 with less than 1000 miles on it. I've had the bike for 4 months now and I've put over 2000 miles on the bike without a single hiccup.

I was interested in the new Zero-s electric motorcycle. I contacted Zero and they put me in contact with Patrick Nesmith. Patrick was nice enouch to arrange a demo ride for me and gladly answered all of my questions about the bike. I loved the bike but it was a bit out of my price range. Patrick thought I might be interested in the Yamaha Fz-09. After doing a bit of research, I asked Patrick to set up a demo ride. again he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the bike and answered all of my questions. I was impressed with the bike and the great customer service, and I am now the proud owner of a new Yamaha FZ-09. Everyone at the dealership was very proffesional and helpful. I will be getting all of my future gear and service on my bike from Big #1. Patrick and the rest of the group did a wonderful job taking care of me and getting me the bike I wanted.

Bought a 2014 Indian Chief Vintage and Leo Randall and Jamie Lane handled everything and did an outstanding job. They were able to get my bike prepped and ready to ride the day it was delivered from the factory. And that speed did not come at the cost of attention to detail - everything was perfect on the bike. Service is excellent as well. I also ordered several items from Chris for the bike. He was very knowledgeable and completely forthcoming about the startup delays in delivery from Indian. That integrity is important to me. I'll definitely be coming back for any future needs for my motorcycle. Polaris made an excellent pick for their Birmingham Alabama Indian dealership. I want to acknowledge Tom West and the whole team there at BIG # 1. I purchased a 2012 Hyosung GT250R and it is a fantastic bike. My experience at BIG # 1 was great. Tom is a great salesman. He was neither pushy nor did he try to put me in something that I did not want nor afford. I will definitely be back when I am ready to purchase another bike. Great negotiation as well. They discounted the bike at a price that I was very comfortable with and I paid cash for my bike which included my new helmet. They even gave me a new cover for my bike as well.

I got the Ranger 400 having never owned a UTV I wished I would have asked more questions or he would had showed me the 570 before I did any paperwork. I am very happy with the 400 hindsight been 20/20 I do think I paid a little to much after seeing an AD on TV two days later. Alls well. Huck, Thanks for all your help. I recently purchased a new BMW C650GT from Big #1. Yes, it's a scooter. I've purchased a number of bikes from Big #1 so I'm familiar with their process and have come to appreciate their selection, level of expertise and level of customer service. I've purchased bikes from other dealerships, in and out of state (AL). As a total experience, Big #1 is hard to beat. Thanks solely to BMW Motorrad USA, taking delivery of my C650 was a huge frustration. I cannot accurately explain how disappointing that experience was but BMW should know that the BIG #1 sales staff (primarily Jime Kilby and Andrew Hairston) saved my sale and likely my interest in BMW motorcycles. I very much appreciate Jime's and Andrew's efforts and again, the level of customer service they delivered to me. Very professional. On another note, my experience with Big #1's service department on the purchase of this particular machine was very much love/hate. The dept. went above and beyond when diagnosing an electrical issue that presented itself during final prep. Loved it. When I brought the machine back a week later for a brake fluid leak at the rear caliper, they under-inspected and completely let me down. A tech fixed the leak later that day but only after I physically pointed it out to the service dept manager, and after several hours of waiting. Hated it because I know how capable Big #1's service department is. All in all, I'm now a dedicated Big #1 customer. They've definitely earned my business!
